Test Types
IELTS offers two main types of tests:
- IELTS Academic: This version is primarily for individuals seeking to study at universities and other educational institutions, and for those who planning to engage in professional work such as medicine & nursing,
- IELTS General Training: Designed for those who migrate, or undertake non-academic training in an English-speaking country.
Test Sections: IELTS evaluates candidates in four key language skills:- Listening: Assessing your ability to understand spoken English.
- Reading: Evaluating your reading comprehension skills.
- Writing: Measuring your ability to express ideas in writing.
- Speaking: Assessing your spoken English skills through a face-to-face interview.
Scoring: IELTS scores range from 0 to 9, with each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) receiving an individual score. The overall band score is the average of these four scores.Test Duration: The total test time is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are completed in one sitting, while the Speaking test may be held on the same day or within a week before or after the other sections.Validity: IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date.Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.
